Watts’ Happening
How could it be September already? I hope this note finds you and your family happy and healthy. Is it just me or does it feel like the summer flew by? Between a full roster of Singnasium classes, teaching at the O’Neill Cabaret & Performance Conference (where Singnasium’s own Peggy Schwartz was a Cabaret Fellow!), and visiting family in St. Louis, and friends in Provincetown and the Berkshires, I’m ready for a Pumpkin Spice Latte!  Now it’s time to focus on the Fall schedule. If you haven’t taken a look, check out the great roster of classes we have lined up. While we’d love to offer in person classes, we’re going to wait a bit longer before coming back together in the classroom. Plus, being online has given us an opportunity to open our doors to anyone, anywhere in the world!

Singnasium is where you’ll learn and experience on a different level. Our NYC classes cover singing, vocal technique, musical theater, and for those who love to sing, so much more. Our classes traverse all levels of voice lessons and singing styles from Cabaret classes to Musical Theater classes and everything in between. For example, in our Arrangement Experience Class, each participant will be assigned two songs to learn as written. Then the fun begins! Over the eight class sessions, you, the Teaching Artist and the Musical Director will collaborate on personalized treatments of each song. You will explore the lyrics, the style of the song and you will create a one of a kind arrangement that is all your own.

How about, Classical Crossfit? If you have ever contemplated crossing over to explore beautiful classical vocal music from around the world, then you are in luck! Add a few classical tunes to your repertoire and have a blast as you unleash your inner classical singer.

The Master Series offers you the opportunity to study with six different Master Teachers over a six week period. You will encounter six different styles and come away with six great songs that you will be able to sing at the next Open Mic night!

Stay creative, hone your musical skills, or add something new to your repertoire –all by learning from the best teachers and artists in the business. Singnasium, New York’s premiere singing education collaborative, is back this September with a powerhouse schedule of affordable, all on-line classes for every level and ability.

In addition to popular Singnasium offerings like Arrangement Experience, Sing Your Story, The Training Room, we also offering: Pop Shop, Piano for Singers and Sing Out Louise. And hold the date for the next Singapalooza on Thursday, May 20th @ 6:30.

Please meet the Director of Singnasium, Mr. Lennie Watts
